Andrea Motis, together with Joan Chamorro, presents the album Emotional Dance. Released by the legendary Impulse! label, it was recorded in New York with a band made up of Catalan and American musicians and produced by Jay Newland and Brian Bacchus. Impulse! is one of the landmark labels in the history of jazz, a seal of quality and a platform for the most outstanding artists and styles in the genre since 1960. The Impulse! stable includes artists of the stature of John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Archie Shepp, Freddie Hubbard, McCoy Tyner and Carla Bley, among many others. With the album Emotional Dance, Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro join this long list. Further proof of how talent, solidity, charisma and hard work have forged one of the most remarkable phenomena in European jazz in a long time.
